The challenge

A Gen Z skincare brand needed more than a loud look.

Higher Education Skincare set out to connect with a younger audience in a category where new products, trends and claims compete for attention every day. The brand needed an identity that could stand out immediately, but also a reason for its community to keep listening.

The brief combined brand evolution with social strategy and preparation for larger retail ambitions, including Boots and Ulta. To work across both a fast-moving feed and a potential retail shelf, Higher Education needed a clear position, memorable packaging, a recognizable content world and education that felt accessible rather than clinical or distant.

What we did

How we got there.

We made education part of the brand's personality.

The strategy began with positioning. Rather than separate product education from brand expression, the two were developed together: a distinctive visual identity and a content approach designed to make skincare knowledge feel energetic, approachable and worth sharing.

That direction shaped the wider brand architecture, from refined packaging and a more coherent digital experience to social pillars built around the questions, routines and interests of its Gen Z audience. The goal was to create an identity with enough consistency for retail and enough personality to feel native to social platforms.

Creative production brought the strategy into the world. High-impact photography, playful product imagery, visual assets and motion-ready content gave the brand a flexible vocabulary for campaigns and everyday conversation. Community-centric storytelling kept the focus on participation and education rather than simply pushing the next product.

The result was a connected brand ecosystem designed to support awareness, deepen loyalty and give Higher Education a clearer foundation for future retail conversations.
