Before booking Botox, patients ask AI ten kinds of questions, and only the last few are about which clinic to choose.
The early questions are about the treatment: will it look natural, is it safe, how much does it cost. Clinics that answer those early questions clearly are the ones AI names when the patient finally asks where to go.
The 10 questions
These are the question types we test for aesthetics clinics, in roughly the order a patient asks them.
Understanding the treatment
- 1. "How long does Botox last?"
- 2. "Will Botox look natural, or will I look frozen?"
- 3. "What's the difference between Botox and filler?"
Weighing the risk
- 4. "Is Botox safe? What are the side effects?"
- 5. "Who should do Botox: a doctor, a nurse or an aesthetician?"
Checking the cost
- 6. "How much does Botox cost in [city]?"
- 7. "Is Botox priced per unit or per area?"
Choosing the clinic
- 8. "Where can I get natural-looking Botox near me?"
- 9. "How do I find a reputable injector?"
- 10. "Is [clinic name] good for Botox?"
Why the early questions matter most
Most clinics only think about question 8. But by the time a patient asks it, AI has already formed a picture of who explains this treatment well. A clinic whose website answered "will it look natural" and "who should do it" in plain language has given AI reasons to trust it. A clinic with a booking page and a price list hasn't.
That's also where the big brands dominate. 5W's Med Spa & Aesthetic Medicine AI Visibility Index found that the treatment and device brands patients ask about by name take most of the AI citations in aesthetics. Clinics get named when the question turns local and personal.
How to answer them on your site
- One page per treatment, structured around these questions, with the answer in the first sentence of each section.
- Name your injectors and their qualifications, so question 5 points to your team.
- Be clear on pricing. Even a range ("from $X per unit") answers questions 6 and 7 better than "contact us."
- Explain your approach to natural results in your own words, with real patient language from reviews.
- Keep medical information accurate and reviewed by your medical director, with their name on the page.
