Here's the answer most leaders don't want to hear: failed AI adoption is a leadership problem wearing a technology costume. Two things kill it, and neither is the software.
The first killer is fear, usually unspoken: is this thing my replacement? Left unanswered, it produces quiet sabotage and secret non-use. The honest response is the truth: nobody was hired to do data entry and first drafts. They were hired for the judgment those tasks buried. Say it, mean it, and staff accordingly.
The second killer is chaos: everyone prompting from scratch, no shared standard, results all over the map, and leadership concluding that AI doesn't work for us. The cure is a shared library. Your best prompts, your brand voice, your processes, collected in one place so the newest hire writes like the founder. One person using AI well is linear. A trained team is compound interest.
Then training that works: no lectures. Each person brings their most annoying recurring task to the first session and leaves with it automated. Adoption is built one personal win at a time, because nobody champions a tool that hasn't saved them a Friday.
Add a one-page policy covering what data never goes in and what always needs human approval, and it sticks.
The full rollout is Volume 2 of our Scale AI series.
One standard, every seat. That's the multiplier.
